This was a sad story turned into something special for our repeat customer, Home Furniture. This building sustained quite a bit of damage when Hurricane Laura visited Lake Charles, LA. The areas homes were devastated as well, with many of the areas family’s needs for furniture increasing overnight.

The building’s envelope was breached allowing weather to damage not only the exterior but the interior too. Home Furniture re-opening its doors was of vital importance to locals, so not only were we called upon to get them back up and running, but this customer went the extra mile and decided to make upgrades to this building that carried the same look as some of their newer stores. The finishes selected were in line with the customers brand imaging which included painted drywall and vinyl flooring typically found in a furniture store. The exterior was upgraded with corrugated metal panels to make it consistent with the look of other stores. Our team guided this client through a rapid, but very high quality turn around and they were back in business serving their local community only a couple short months following the devastation.
