The new OMC Outpatient Diagnostic Center is a ground-up, single story, 23,000 SqFt building. The foundation is pile supported and the building frame consists of structural steel, architectural precast concrete composite wall panels, fabricated metal wall system, and glazed aluminum curtain wall. This imaging center includes four new MRI systems, two CT systems, two mammography systems, and two radiography systems along with exam and medical support space. Patient exam rooms and administrative support space were integrated to optimize patient care and physician workflow. Unique project challenges included integration of multiple diagnostic imaging manufacturers and phased construction to accommodate accelerated project delivery.
