Fujino Capital // 3,000 SqFt // Ground-Up Office Building

This project is a 49,600 SF, four-level office building located in Covington, LA. The cast-in-place concrete structure consists of 8” thick post-tensioned slabs and is supported by 14” diameter x 55’-0” long auger cast piles. A pre-engineered Butler building with a standing seam roof system rests on top of the 4th floor and spans the entire width of the building. The building façade is a traditional stucco system with filled and polished concrete blocks with cast stone accent banding. All of the exterior glass is impact-rated with a low-E coating to limit radiant heat gain. The mechanical system consists of high-efficiency water source heat pumps utilizing a series of closed-loop geothermal wells on-site to heat or cool the process water. All lighting is LED, which helps reduce interior heat gain and overall energy consumption.
