Home Furniture Plus Bedding of Baton Rouge is a new, ground-up pre-engineered Butler building on a three (3) acre site. The building consists of 25,000 SqFt of showroom space, 1,000 SqFt of office space, and 4,000 SqFt of warehouse space with a truck dock. Kent Design Build was the successful invited bidder with Crump Wilson Architects leading the design efforts. The structure consisted of an MR-24 standing roofing system, architectural wall panels, and an aluminum storefront system. Interior finishes include exposed ceilings with high-bay lighting, fabric ductwork, a combination of carpet and LVT flooring, and aluminum storefront windows for natural lighting. Construction duration was eight months from the notice-to-proceed to completion.
