It’s All In the Details: Presidential Self Storage

A Case Study

Have you ever heard of a patriotic storage unit? The details of this high-end facility make it extremely secure, functional, and patriotic, but how?

The interior and exterior have a red, white, and blue color palette. The front building is 40,000 sq ft and consists of office space and 222 total units that range from 5’ x 5’ to 15’ x 30’. Each hallway is named after a different President for a convenient way for customers to find units. The HVAC system isn’t specific to each unit, it acclimates the whole space for an economical approach. The space is lit with motioned censored lights for an energy-saving measure.

The back building is 30,000 sq ft and consists of 41 15’ x 50’ RV and boat storage units. Each space is insulated and climate-controlled. Unlike the main building, ductwork is run to each individual unit. Each unit is complete with a blue insulated roll-up door.  Behind this building is a detention pond surrounded by 15 planted oak trees.

In order to build this project on this 5-acre site, we had to remove a number oak trees. Due to the required tree removal, we worked with the city to create a live oak mitigation plan. There are newly planted oak trees scattered across the property to accommodate the plan.

Security is obviously of utmost importance in a storage facility. There are over 40 cameras on the property that cover all angles of the exterior and interior of the buildings. Access control and gate access is modern and secure. Each tenant is given a secure login to an app that can be used to open doors and gates. This is a convenient way to ensure security.

This high-end storage facility is open and leasing units! This place provides a unique storage experience. Storage units don’t have to be boring spaces, something as simple as a unique theme can create an exciting space!
