This 1.05 acre project site is located in Franklinton, LA and includes clinic space for Kidney and Hypertension Associates and a twelve (12) chair dialysis center operated by Fresenius Kidney Care. Kent Design Build was the successful bidder on this privately funded, invited bid opportunity. The design provided by Brett Petry Architects was very specific and detailed with an identifiable roof line and backset storefront glass. The structural design consists of a conventionally reinforced shallow foundation with steel columns and laminated wood beams supporting prefabricated wood trusses. The building’s exterior has cement lap siding, architectural shingles, and bronze storefront frames. The dialysis center was designed around Fresenius’ exacting standards with custom millwork, Mannington vinyl plank flooring and vinyl sheet flooring, Mohawk carpet tile and extensive plumbing rough in for the dialysis water processing equipment.
